There are three main factors that we take into account when pricing a website project. The three factors are:
What is a Unique Page Design?
A unique page design is a page which is different from other pages on the website in terms of layout, colour scheme or functionality. In most websites, Homepage is a unique page design which is different from the remaining pages.
In the below example, Homepage is a unique page design and all the inner pages share the same design. Though there are 3 inner pages but all having the same design, so these are considered as one page.
In the example below, 4 pages are shown each having a unique layout, style and content. Each of these pages are unique pages and these are designed separately. All unique pages have different front and backend designs.

API Integration
An API is a set of definitions and protocols for building and integrating application software. You may need to extend your website functionality by integrating it to 3rd party software applications, like XERO or a CRM. These integrations could be very simple or may involve complex coding. It adds to the extra complexity to the website development process and incur extra charges.
Multi Language Capability
If you need your website to display content in multiple languages, it requires multi-language functionality set up. We can set up multiple languages like French, Chinese, German etc… which requires custom language translation plugin setup.

Integration
Some businesses need calendar functionality on their website. It can be done by integrating a custom calendar plugin or developing the calendar from scratch if the plugin does not fulfill the requirements.

A booking form can be a simple contact us form or a complex booking system, e.g. a hotel reservation system, a childcare booking form or a salon booking system. The functionality can be set up by building a custom booking form or using an already available plugin.

Registration
Some customers want to retain their customer’s data on the website. This can be done by setting up a membership/registration functionality on the website. Users can register on the website and save information under their profiles.

Sometimes mortgage advisers or tax consultants require custom calculators on the website for users to work out their calculations. This can be done by developing a custom calculator or using an already existing plugin. We can develop this functionality at an additional cost.
Total Number of Simple Pages
A simple page is a standard template page which is not “unique” in the website. A typical example of a simple page is each team bio page which follows the same layout for each team member. Another example is a services page having different services with each service detail page representing the same layout.
Below is an example of a simple page. There are 4 portfolio pages representing the same design. Each page is considered a simple page following the same layout and style as the other portfolio pages.

We have three main web design packages which cover most of the small business website design needs. Our Starter Package consists of 5 “Unique” pages and cost around $3500+GST. If you require around 10 “Unique” pages then Small Biz Package is a good fit. Its costs around $4800+GST. For customers looking to set up more than 10 pages, we recommend our Premium Website Package, it costs around $6500+GST. Please check all details on the packages page.
A unique page design is a template page which is based on a specific design layout. When we design a website, we make a certain number of unique template pages which you can use to populate more pages. The initial pricing of the website depends on the number of unique pages we design and develop.
The whole process is divided into three stages i.e. Design, Development, Deployment. Here’s are the main points:
- First, we design the Homepage of the website and send it to you for review.
- Our design team will create a look and feel to appeal to your audience.
- The design will have a modern layout & hierarchy that is clear & simple to understand.
- Within the first week, we will send you the home page design for your feedback.
- We make unlimited design revisions until you approve the design, as long as the revisions are in agreement with the original brief.
- Once you approve the home page design, we will start designing the inner designs.
- Once all pages of the website design are approved, we start building the website on WordPress CMS.
- The completed website is uploaded on our test server and shared with you for your approval/feedback. You review the website and sends us feedback. Once both parties are happy, we upload the website on the live domain.
The above process applies to most of the projects we undertake, however, it may differ based on the project requirements.
We offer unlimited website design revisions on everything we design for you, until you approve the designs, as long as the revisions are in agreement with the original brief. If you completely change direction after we start designing or add to the original brief, then we will send you a quote to continue designing as per the new direction.
If you need a copywriter, we can introduce you to one of our copywriting partners and they can send you a quote based on your needs. Price can vary between a few hundred to a few thousand, depending on how much copy you need.
Starter Package – Between 1-2 weeks.
Small Biz Package – Between 3-5 weeks.
Premium Package – Between 4-7 weeks.
The timeline also depends on when we get website content including images and text from you. Generally speaking, the website will only take a long time if we are still waiting for text and images from yourself.

Yes, with all websites that we create for you, we automatically sign the Intellectual Property rights over to you when paid in full.
